II BASF Circular Economy Awards

The BASF Awards for Best Circular Economy Practice in Spain aim to recognize projects or research initiatives that, based on the circular economy, make a substantial contribution or have the potential to contribute to the development of business competitiveness in our country. Special attention is given to projects that incorporate the perspective of environmental and social sustainability in their development and objectives.
About the trophy
The trophy design consists of a cylindrical totem composed of two parts: the structure and the covering. The structure is a circular extrusion made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, with the distinctive feature of changing smoothly, creating a gradient in shades of green. The covering is a cylindrical sheet of 90% recycled iron, painted with non-toxic water-based paint, machined to create the cutout of the BASF logo, revealing the yellow-turquoise gradient color of the structure. The award's own graphics are applied to this covering through YAG laser engraving.
