Rafa Nadal Foundation Awards
Rafa Nadal Foundation, 2023
The award ceremony for the first edition of the "Rafa Nadal Foundation Awards" took place on March 27th at Es Baluard, Museum of Contemporary Art in Palma de Mallorca, with the presence of Rafael Nadal, the founding trustee of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, Gabriela Ramos, Deputy Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO, and José María Álvarez-Pallete, President of Telefónica.
About the trophy
Six trophies have been crafted, each corresponding to one of the corporate colors of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, with the purpose of representing the six categories that will be awarded. The trophy's configuration resembles the image of a tree, with its apex displaying the distinctive logo of the foundation.
These trophies are made from high-quality materials, utilizing FSC-certified solid wood that has been CNC machined to create the foundation's logo. The structural support is constructed from recycled steel, which has been painted with water-based paint and subsequently varnished to ensure a top-quality finish.
To personalize each of the trophies with the name of its respective category and the name of the foundation, a laser engraving process in black has been employed.
